The Mission Board is responsible for educating, inspiring, and empowering Christ’s love beyond the walls of Union Church. With our gifts of time, energy, skills, talents, and money the Mission Board helps the congregation to seek peace and justice, and practice of inclusive love in ways that reflect the congregation's ongoing struggle to understand the teachings of Jesus and to translate them into meaningful commitment and action. 
 

•   Some of the activities of the board include meeting the emergency needs of church families;    selecting, coordinating, and promoting the church's local, national, and international involvements in mission giving; coordinating the church's ecumenical activities; raising money and awareness through the church bazaar (s) and/or other fundraising in support of mission giving; and especially empowering and educating volunteers for local service in the Berea area.

•   There are 9 members of the board, each serving a three-year term.

•   Class of 2009:

•   Class of 2011:
     Katie Basham
     Annriette Stolte
     Doug Hindman
